These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the platform operated by ZAAF GLOBAL ENTERPRISE LIMITED (“ZAAF Global”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use ZAAF Global. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for all activity under your account.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

• Tenants must provide truthful application information, honour agreed bookings, and pay rent and deposits on time through the platform.
• Landlords must have the legal right to let the properties they list, provide accurate descriptions and pricing, honour confirmed bookings, and comply with applicable tenancy laws.
• Property owners are responsible for the accuracy of their portfolio, the conduct of any managers they authorise, and ensuring listed properties are genuinely available.

3. Listings Accuracy

Landlords and owners are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, including photos, pricing, availability and property condition. We review listings before they go live but do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided content. Misleading or fraudulent listings will be removed.

4. Bookings & Payments

Bookings and payments are processed securely through the platform in Kenyan Shillings. Rent, deposits and applicable fees are shown before you confirm. You agree to pay all amounts due for bookings you make. Refunds, cancellations and deposit handling follow the terms agreed between the tenant and landlord and any policy displayed on the listing.

5. Verification

To maintain a safe marketplace, we may require identity verification and proof of ownership, including a government ID, a selfie and ownership documents. We reserve the right to suspend or reject accounts and listings that fail verification or provide false information.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false, misleading or unlawful listings or information.
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity or ownership.
• Bypassing the platform to avoid fees, verification or secure payments.
• Harassing, defrauding or discriminating against other users.
• Attempting to disrupt, hack or misuse the platform or its data.

7. Liability

ZAAF Global provides a platform that connects tenants, landlords and owners. We are not a party to the tenancy or rental agreement between users and are not responsible for the conduct of users or the condition of any property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in prohibited conduct. Certain obligations, including payment for completed bookings, survive termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
